VAMERA
What is Vamera?
Mycorrhizarefers to a symbiotic association between fungi and the roots of a plant. The term comes from Greek words mykes(fungus) and rhiza(root). This relationship is highly beneficial to both the plant and the fungus.
• Enhanced Nutrient Uptake : Mycorrhizal fungi increase the surface area for nutrient absorption, especially phosphorus and micronutrients.
• Improved Water Absorption : Hyphaeextend into the soil far beyond root zones, helping plants access water.
• Disease Resistance : They protect roots by creating a physical barrier and by producing compounds that inhibit pathogens
• Improved Soil Structure : Mycorrhizal secrete glomalin, which helps bind soil particles together, improving aeration and water retention.
